INTRODUCTION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES AT “JSC ALEKSO GINTARAS”
The company is implementing the project Introduction of Renewable Energy Resources at JSC Alekso gintaras (No. 04.2.1-LVPA-K-836-04-0049), during the project company will be installing renewable energy resources in the production.
Jewelry manufacturer „JSC Alekso gintaras“ is planning to reduce energy intensity of energy consumption in the company by increasing the production and consumption of renewable energy sources. For modern businesses to stay internationally competitive and to improve their business image and financial performance, it is vital to invest in technologies that reduces production costs and increases efficiency and protect the environment. During the project time company is planning to invest in 97.72 kW installation of a solar photovoltaic power station and air-water heating system. After the investment, the production and consumption of renewable energy sources will be 0.2 MW.
EU support was received for co-financing of the project under the European Union Funds Investments 2014-2020 operational program priority axis 4 „Promoting Energy Efficiency and production and Production and Use of the Renewable Energy“ measures No. 04.2.1-LVPA-K-836 "Renewable energy resources for industry LT +" project financing conditions description no. 3. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
